A journey into memory retrieval a film and learning module

Summary: Nick Brechenridge recalls an important conversatin he had with this daughter Amber. Her mysterious disappearance leaves an emptiness which Nick tries to fill with memories of their life together. As he reflects on their past and plans for his future, Nick's memory progressively changes. Retrieval pairs a short narrative film with a video learning module featuring commentary by noted memory experts: Robert Bjork, Elizabeth Loftus and Daniel Schacter. Retrieval represents a brand new approach to introducing the topic of memory in a psychology class and encouraging long-term retention and knowledge integration of key memory concepts.
