Summary: "This collection of work is the result of various explorations into conceptions of geometry as form-language, supported by the work of historical visionary architect Jekabs Zvilna and framed by a broad background of contemporary 'organicism' and complex-systems studies. These studies consist of primary geometric systems which include lattices, arrays and membranes, and the possibilities for growth and aggregation that they present. Jekabs Zvilna was a professor and researcher at the University of Waterloo School of Architecture during the 1960s and 1970s.
