Iain Baxter products, place, phenomenon

Art Gallery of Windsor (Added Author).

Summary: A decade of work by Ian Baxter is examined in this video portrait. A self-appointed maker of things, continues a "non-art" approach to his work, challenging our notions of what art is and does. Featured in this discussion is Techno Compost, a compost of non-dregradable appliances. It, like many of the works discussed, is typical of Baxter's commentary on the contradiction between current environmental consciousness and the consumer driven economy of our time.
